Three Australian Pelicans stand in shallow water at the Kedron Brook Wetlands Reserve, Brisbane. The pelicans are white with black wings and long pink bills. The two on the right face each other with bills pointing together; the one on the right faces is looking downwards as it preens. Their reflections are visible in the still, grey-blue water below. In the background, between the left and centre pelicans, two Pied Stilts — small black and white birds with long red legs — stand in the water. The background is out of focus green-brown vegetation.
